Registration Open: Joyful Practice for Dark Times (Zoom)Workshop, May 2-June 20
join our generative writing community & playfully explore creative process

In February, Jenn and I launched our first Joyful Practice for Dark Times Workshop series. We had an inkling that we weren’t the only ones in need of a communal space where it was safe to be vulnerable and show up with our most serious and silly selves. What followed was eight weeks of playful writing, genuine sharing, and tender holding. As our sessions progressed, the spirit of Joyful Practice became our guide for collaboration and experimentation.
We are eager to discover what we will learn when we enter into creative community again, so Jenn and I are offering another 8-week Joyful Practice session beginning Friday, May 2 and ending on Friday June 20. Sessions meet on Zoom on Fridays from 12 - 1:30 pm Pacific Time.
In a typical session, we write together, share work and thoughts about creative process, and then engage with a focused idea or tool to help feed the creative spark. Participants receive weekly emails with follow-up prompts and readings. We find that this format is fun and helpful to writers and creative minds at all levels.
You can find more information on the eight-week workshop here, and you can register at the same link.
